Diana Lee Inosanto and Emily Swallow cancelling ManiPopCon appearance

Bad news for Star Wars and The Mandalorian fans hoping to see Diana Lee Inosanto (Morgan Elsbeth) and Emily Swallow (The Armorer) as both have cancelled their appearance for the Manila-based convention.

The two Star Wars actors were set to appear and do meet & greets as well as solo panels for the weekend events but they had to cancel last minute as announced a few minutes ago by the ManiPopCon organizers.

Here’s what they posted on the Facebook page.

There was a line in the post that’s somewhat interesting. The organizers say that they are apologizing to the actresses and their management teams. Could it be scheduling conflicts or something else?

The organizers have also assured that ticket holders will be getting refunds and that the refund process has already begun.

Inosanto is the daughter of the legendary Dan Inosanto and plays Morgan Elsbeth in both Star Wars spinoff series The Mandalorian and the recently concluded Star Wars: Ahsoka starring Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano.

Meanwhile Emily Swallow plays The Armorer in The Mandalorian, a role she has played since season 1 with her role getting bigger as the season progresses.

As of this writing, only Mackenyu and Mela Lee are slated to appear for the event with tickets for the Mackenyu panel still available.
