Arcane is now officially canon according to Riot Games
In a recent update video for League of Legends, it was revealed that Arcane is officially canon meaning all the things that happened in the Netflix show is what actually happened to the characters.
This bit of information was dropped in a video posted by the League of Legends Twitter featuring Riot Games developers Andrei van Roon and Jeremy Lee. Go check out that video below:

During the video we also get to learn more about the upcoming champions coming soon to the game as well as the upcoming champion Skarner.
Arcane was released in November 6 2021 on Netflix and was created by Christian Linke and Alex Yee together with the French studio Fortiche. It was sent in the land of Piltover and depicts the lives of estranged sisters Vi and Jinx and the complicated world they live in. The show features the voices of Hailee Steinfeld, Ella Purnell, Mia Sinclair, Kevin Alejandro, Reed Shannon and more! The show’s second season is set for release around late 2024 according to reports.
