Classic Avengers Villain is dying and needs the Avengers – Avengers # 1 Spoilers
It looks like the main drive for the latest volume of Avengers or at least the first story arc would revolve around another classic Avengers villain and one that’s poised to be the central villain for the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Multiverse Saga. Spoilers for Avengers # 1.

In the last few pages of the issue, the Avengers succeed in stopping the villain known as Terminus who was looking to absorb energies stored from a blackhole machine that was stored in Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. but at the same time, the team also loses their chairperson/ chairwoman, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. With the Blackhole energies leaking out, Danvers makes a sacrifice play where she keeps everybody safe and safely absorbs the energies while locked inside an energy box with a bit of good probability with the help of returning Avenger, Scarlet Witch.
When Carol wakes up, she’s transported elsewhere while still inside the box.
Carol realizes that she’s been transported to a place where Kang the Conqueror has been waiting for her for a long time.
So Kang is bleeding and badly injured. The question is who did this to him and what does he need the Avengers for?
