Here’s our first look at X-Men: Hellfire Gala 2023

The annual X-Men: Hellfire Gala continues for 2023 with a look at the one-shot’s cover featuring those gorgeous costumes the X-Men wear whenever they attend the gala.

Just like the previous Hellfire volume, this year’s cover will be done by Phil Noto and puts White Queen herself, Emma Frost front and center for the new gala.

It also looks like whatever Sinister’s doing right now in Sins of Sinister will have very little impact to the general status quo for the mutants of Krakoa.

I also want to point out the absence of Cyclops in this cover. He does appear here but more of a photo rather than an actual character in the story. Could something big happen to our dear Scott Summers in this story or before the gala begins?

Lastly I want to point that Nimrod is also here so the war between Krakoa and Orchis continues again with no big effects from Sins of Sinister.

Very interesting this year’s Hellfire Gala is. Plus I’m already hyped to see the next batch of mutants that will be joining (or even re-join) the team. I will miss Forge too as a member since the dude has done everything cool in the time that he’s elected as a member of the X-Men.

And before that the team including Rogue and Polaris…
