Chupa movie coming to Netflix and it’s from the people who brought us Harry Potter and Alfonso Cuaron’s son

Apparently there’s a new family oriented and kid-friendly film called Chupa coming out on Netflix.

Chupa is coming April 7 on Netflix and is directed by Jonas Cuaron, the son of legendary (and Academy Award winning director Alfonso Cuaron). The screenplay was done by Sean Kennedy Moore and Joe Barnathan and Marcus Rineheart.

So basically the story is about a boy who meets the legendary creature known as the Chupacabra (thus the Chupa).

Sorry as a Filipino, there’s another meaning for this word and it sucks that the film will be getting extra snickers from Pinoys.
