SPOILERS: Warner isn’t even hiding the Shazam: Fury of the Gods cameo anymore

SPOILER ALERT for those who want to see Shazam: Fury of the Gods unblemished and untainted, skip this post.

Again last chance, SPOILER ALERT

So here we go.

Apparently since DC Comics and Warner Bros has closed the door on Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman (well not entirely on Batfleck), they resort to the last member of the Trinity and that is Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.

According to reports this would be a short scene where she pops up and helps the Shazam Family before flying away from the battle.

I have to admit its frustrating that DC Comics and Warner Bros Pictures LOVE to spoil these kinds of cameos. I think partly because they want to use this cameo as a way to generate more ticket sales and interest for the movie. They did this already for Doomsday in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer.

But there’s a nice little thing here that I can’t ignore. It was a good call to have Wonder Woman as she has strong ties to the film’s main antagonists namely  Helen Mirren’s Hespera and Lucy Liu’s Kalypso who are obviously greek goddesses.
