Jon Bernthal returns as the Punisher in Daredevil: Born Again

Fans are now eager to see Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again series on Disney+ thanks to the inclusion of actor Jon Bernthal and his famous Punisher character.

Daredevil: Born Again will be helmed by Writers and executive producers Matt Corman and Chris Ord. It’s also reported that production will begin this month and will be topbilled by Charlie Cox as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin.

The series will also show a big departure from other Marvel series as it promises to have 18 episodes.

Both the protagonist and antagonist for Born Again have already appeared in other Marvel shows like Daredevil on She-Hulk starring Tatiana Maslany and D’Onofrio’s Fisk appearing in Hawkeye.

Bernthal’s Frank Castle appeared in a total of two seasons of The Punisher for Netflix which first aired on November 17, 2016 and a few episodes of Daredevil prior to having his own show.

Meanwhile I’m also crazy to see what gets adapted from the classic Frank Miller Daredevil: Born Again. I know that it will be lacking though considering Marvel Studios didn’t invite back Deborah Ann Wohl as Karen Page and Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson for the series.
