I recently just finished the min Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin which details the story of the last remaining Ninja Turtle saving New York City from the clutches of The Foot Clan.

Leonardo

Leonardo perished during an attack of Baxter Stockman’s on their place just as the Turtles were about to take on the Foot Clan in one huge sweep with their allies. Their group was divided in the chaos with one team composed of Michaelangelo, April O’Neil and Fugitoid trying to evade capture. The other group is just Leonardo and Casey Jones trying to fight the invading mousers and Stockman’s soldiers.

But then Stockman decides to bomb the entire place killing Casey and Leonardo in the process.

Raphael

Raphael perished during a fight with Shredder’s daughter, Karai. In this part of the story, Raphael decides to go on his own to avenge Master Splinter who got injured

After mowing through a number of Foot Soldiers, Raph finally gets his one-on-one with Karai.

And they tumble down the water where they land their final blow.

Donatello

Donatello died together with Master Splinter in issue 4, after the death of Leonardo and Raphael in New York. Donatello accompanied his father in Japan where they continued to try to broker a peace between their two clans. Only problem is that Shredder’s party did not want to commit to a peace agreement. Rather they planned to kill whoever went to Japan which in this case was Donnie and Splinter.

The two fell from a continuous barrage of arrows making their deaths dramatic. This was also recounted to Mikey when he went to Japan.

Spoiler alert, Michaelangelo is the only turtle to survive until the end. And even that doesn’t stick long.
