Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott relaunch new Titans ongoing with team replacing Justice League

Writer Tom Taylor will be leading the next generation of heroes with a new Titans series with artist Nicola Scott.

The new team is rebuilt from the ground up by Dick Grayson after the events of Dark Crisis on Infinite Crisis which also saw the return of the members of the Justice League after their “deaths”.

Superman and Wonder Woman leave it up to Dick who they have considered as the leader of the new generation of heroes and give him dibs to decide what happens next. So Dick decides that doesn’t want the Justice League so he calls in his Teen Titans friends and reform the Titans.

According to the news online, Nightwing brings the team to Bludhaven and rebuilds the Titans Tower (which was recently leveled by Deathstroke the Terminator and his Dark Army).

And the team that responds to Dick’s call is an interesting mix of classic Teen Titans members as well as New Teen Titans teammates as well.

The team consists of:

Nightwing
Starfire
Donna Troy
The Flash – Wally West
Beast Boy
Raven
Starfire
Cyborg

The team’s scope will also be bigger compared to their last operation; they will be operating on a global scale taking over as the “new” Justice League team being designed to deal with threats and dangers much like the JLA.

This is also interesting because this will give more synergy between the solo Nightwing book and the Titans books. Dick’s solo book was a lot of fun and I want to see that same fun in the Titans book.
