The underlying tone for this is like him saying to fans to “behave” and that he knows what he and Peter Safron is doing with this new DC Universe.

The Guardians of the Galaxy director also says that he knows and is ready for negative feedback over their decisions including the harassment and name-calling. But while he sees that as a heavy thing to carry, he does feel that working on crafting and making the DC Universe is something heavier.

So what happened here is that last week, actor Henry Cavill released a statement saying that he is no longer playing Superman for future DC movie projects; that of course came some time after the Black Adam post-credit scene was leaked where we see him wearing the Superman costume again as he confronts Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam. Cavill was asked to announced that he returns as Superman back then; he even left the Netflix The Witcher series because he got the role again.
