Pokemon anime wraps up Ash and Pikachu’s journey in January 2023

After 20 years or so, Ash Ketchum and Pikachu are finally saying goodbye to life on the road as the current Pokemon anime has already been announced as ending by January 2023.

According to the Pokemon anime poster you’re seeing above, the final episode featuring Ash and Pikachu will air in Japan on 13th of January 2023.

Meanwhile, the new series coming will feature two new trainers named Riko and Roy.

The new series will be set in Paldea and will feature the three starter Pokemons from the recently released game Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
