Becky Lynch as Cyndi Lauper for upcoming Young Rock episode
Former WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch aka The Man has posted several photos of her on the set of the series Young Rock where we will be seeing Becky Lynch as Cyndi Lauper!

And yes we will be seeing Captain Lou Albano here in this episode. If you’re familiar with Lauper involvement with the WWE/ WWF and the Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Connection.
We even get Iron Sheik who I wish would cuss out Hulk Hogan somewhere in the future like he does regularly on Twitter.
Anyway, here’s the short version of why Lynch is appearing as Cyndi Lauper.
Lauper and Albano worked together in Lauper’s music video “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” where the pro-wrestler played her father.
Albano and Lauper bonded well and the former invited her to make an appearance in an WWF show which included an appearance in Rowdy Roddy Piper’s segment called Piper’s Pit.
In this promo, Albano kayfabe disrespects Lauper and calls her a “broad” as well as making bold claims that he discovered Lauper and launched her into superstardom. That then snowballs into a match where Lauper will get a representative against a wrestler of Albano’s choosing.
The match was set and will happen in 1984’s The Brawl to End it All. Cyndi Lauper picks Wendi Richter while Lou Albano got then women’s champion The Fabulous Moolah.
Obviously, they wanted a feel-good ending so Wendi Richter and Cyndi Lauper wins the match and Richter won the belt. It was a DQ by the way.
