It looks like Marvel Studios is bringing the Hulk one step closer to the rumored World War Hulk movie and thats because of one key scene from She-Hulk Attorney at Law episode 2.

Spoiler alert

In this episode, Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) calls her cousin Bruce Banner aka Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) to inform him that she will be taking up the case of Hulk’s former enemy Emil Blonsky aka Abomination (Tim Roth). They have a nice talk about Jen taking on Abomination’s case and Bruce has stated that he has moved on from the fight all those years ago. Banner even tells Jen that he got one of those haikus that Blonsky mentioned earlier in the episode.

When Jen asks if she’ll see her cousin anytime soon in California, Bruce says that may not be the case as he adjusts his seat and the camera zooms out to reveal that he’s onboard the Sakaaran ship that they encountered in episode 1. Its also the same ship that caused the accident that turned Jennifer Walters into the She-Hulk.

Again, the mix of Hulk and Sakaar could be an indication that we could be getting Planet Hulk/ World War Hulk soon.

In that story by Greg Pak and Carlo Pagulayan and John Romita Jr, Hulk returns to Earth with the intention of getting his revenge against the Illuminati who sent him to Sakaar. Hulk blames the Illuminati for destroying his new home and kingdom. When he gets to Earth he takes out the heroes one by one, forcing the Illuminati members to fight to the death “Gladiator” style.

He is stopped in the end by The Sentry ans Banner reverts back to his human form and locked up in a SHIELD facility.

That may not be the case with the MCU version but this could be something else and be like Thor: Love and Thunder where they loosely base the story of Gorr the God Butcher and mix and match it with other elements.
