Marvel Studios announces two new Avengers movies – Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty

Fans have definitely called it even before Marvel Studios have officially announced the official titles to their upcoming Avengers movies and its going to be Avengers: Secret Wars and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.

After the cut, I posted the title cards for these two films which is coming around 2024 and beyond.

It looks like Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is going to deal with the threat of Kang and the multiverse which was heavily touched on in different Marvel movies and Disney+ shows like Spider-Man: No Way Home to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. And we will definitely see more of this in the upcoming Phase 5 film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania where its been already announced that we’ll meet Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror, the time traveling Avengers villain that “He Who Remains” tried to stop from rising by building the TVA or Time Variance Authority as seen in Loki.

We will also be getting Avengers: Secret Wars …

Avengers: Secret Wars is coming to theaters November 7, 2025 and will be the culmination of whatever story Marvel Studios is developing right now. But the thing is, there are two versions of Secrets Wars stories in the Marvel comics. One is the original Secret Wars story where a bunch of heroes and villains were transported to a planet called Battleworld where they were forced to fight and play “Survivor” to be watched by the powerful being the Beyonder.

The other, more recent one, was written by Jonathan Hickman and focuses on the mish-mash of different universes that merge into one place called Battleworld ruled by Doctor Doom.

Let’s see where this ride takes us.

Honestly though I’m already feeling the Marvel fatigue plus the frustration of not getting any news about an X-Men movie is also heartbreaking. Good thing Marvel’s still got their own even called D23 2022 which happens September 2022 in the US. So maybe they are reserving more of their heavy hitting stories for that solo event.
