RUMOR: Jason Segel as The Thing for MCU Fantastic Four

Let’s talk about this new rumor that suggest that Jason Segel as The Thing for the MCU Fantastic Four film coming soon on theaters.

The rumor that surfaced that the actor will be playing the role of the Fantastic Four’s main bruiser will be making an appearance in the upcoming Disney+ show She-Hulk: Attorney at Law which stars Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk/ Jennifer Walters.

So according to the rumor that came from Reddit and 4Chan, the Thing will be appearing in the last three episodes of “Attorney at Law” as Jennifer Walters’ client; defending him from a defamation case as well as the classic The Wrecking Crew.

The Wrecking Crew consists of four members which consists of Wrecker, Bulldozer, Thunderball and Piledriver.

Also note that they they have not yet appeared in the MCU or Marvel Cinematic Universe so this could be an exciting time.

Its also reported that Segel’s rumored Thing appearance would be through a motion-capture or mo-cap suit making sure that he was already transformed from the pilot Ben Grimm to the superhero The Thing.

And he’s not only the hero that will be appearing here in the Disney+ series as at some point in time or when Segel’s Grimm makes an appearance in the show he will reportedly have Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock aka Daredevil along with him.

However, let’s not get our hopes up too much and instead treat this with a grain of salt.

Still, it is interesting to note that some of the pieces to this rumor line up. She-Hulk has defended heroes in court in a number of stories. She actually shares the job with Matt Murdock too. So let’s see.

Jason Segel has made a lot of movies in the past but the work where a lot of people remember him is in How I Met Your Mother where he played Marshal Eriksen, this big and loud guy with a heart of gold.
