New Firestar costume debuts in X-Men # 13 variant cover

With Hellfire Gala wrapping up and new mutants voted to join the X-Men including Angelica Jones aka Firestar. Check out the new Firestar costume which debuts via the X-Men # 13 cover.

There are a number of other cool X-Men # 13 variant covers including the page where the new X-Men members were introduced from Hellfire Gala # 1.

What’s not clear is whether or not this is going to be a permanent costume change now that Firestar has been placed in the marquee X-Men team or its a one time thing. She did not have a Hellfire Gala costume too so this could just that, an unused Hellfire Gala costume that she chose not to wear while attending the Krakoa event.

Interesting to see where writer Gerry Duggan will be bringing this new team of mutants.

And I really hope that they would be giving more time for other mutants to join the team in the next few years.
