MCU Namor concept art for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever now online
Here’s a look at the MCU Namor concept art for the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever which gives us a decent look at Tenoch Huerta depicted as Namor / Namor McKenzie who will reportedly be the film’s villain.
The news of the Namor casting totally slipped by me and apparently it should be big news but here we are anyway. The actor Marvel Studios has tapped to play the role of the Submariner is Tenoch Huerta. Here he is in the MCU Namor concept art that surfaced the other day…
And according to reports, Marvel’s version of the lost continent of Atlantis will have ties to the ancient Incas and Aztecs which is why the MCU Namor is of Latin American decent and why he’s wearing a headress. The Wakanda Forever concept art also revealed a look at Namor’s “frenemy” Attuma.
Again note the headress and weaponry.
Seems cool so now we need to see more of them in one form or another.
I’m also curious to see how Marvel Studios plans to execute a Black Panther sequel without the Black Panther in it instead turning supporting cast as the main protagonist for the story. Or maybe we’ll get a nice new Black Panther at the end. We do know that they already shot scenes with Dominique Thorne who will play Riri Williams aka Ironheart in this movie and that they already shot scenes featuring Wakandan soldiers going underwater, probably in preparation with the fight against the Atlanteans.
