2022 PPOPCON Returns with ‘PPOPCON EXTRA!’ happening April 9 – 10 at Araneta City
The biggest and hottest PPOP groups of today’s generation made OPM history as the 2022 PPOPCON marks the return of the live entertainment scene. Thousands across different fandoms from all over the world celebrated the ‘ultimate fan gathering’ at the Big Dome held last April 9 & 10, 2022 at the City of Firsts, Araneta City.
Over the blink-and-you-miss weekend, PPOP fans witnessed the captivating and electrifying performances from SB19, MNL48, BGYO, BINI, 4th Impact, ALAMAT, Press Hit Play, and 1ST.ONE who top-billed the music celebration at Araneta Coliseum along with VXON, KAlA, and G22. PPop Generation, Daydream, R Rules, Calista, and DIONE provided entertainment that thrilled the audience at the 2-day PPOP CON convention at the New Frontier Theater.
The ULTIMATE FAN GATHERING was a big win for the fans as not only did they see their favorites perform live, but they also got the chance to interact with their PPOP biases on stage, and play games prepared and hosted by the convention artists themselves. The convention also featured booths, selling of official merch, and fanbase activities that added delight to the fans.
Following the success and due to popular demand, 2022 PPOPCON returns for a limited engagement with PPOPCON EXTRA! — an extended online concert with never-before-seen footage, remastered concert replay (director’s cut), exclusive interviews, rehearsal snippets, convention and concert highlights, and many more! Over 4 hours of exclusive, extended and extra content for the PPOP Community to experience!
PPOPCON was KAIA, G22 and DIONE’s debut stage. It also served as a comeback stage for VXON’s ‘PS’, 4th Impact’s ‘Here We Go’, MNL48’s ‘No Way Man’ and Press Hit Play graced us with their new song ‘Sambit’. The ultimate fan gathering was blessed with many “firsts” by these talented artists, and there’s more to see at PPOPCON EXTRA!
