DC Multiverse Black Lantern Batman now on preorder from McFarlane Toys

McFarlane Toys continues to build up their expansive Batman toyline with the official announcement for the DC Multiverse Black Lantern Batman.

They initially teased the figure with the image you see above of Batman rising from the grave.

This was of course taken from the awesome Blackest Night story written by Geoff Johns with art by Ivan Reis.

In the book, the Black Lanterns were dead beings revived by Nekron and B-list villain Black Hand to be his servants in his quest to get rid of all life in the universe. During one particular fight, the Black Lanterns were able to revive Batman as a Black Lantern.

Prior to this event, Batman “died” during Grant Morrison’s Final Crisis story to save the world by taking down Darkseid who has also returned to the world.

So far we dont have a full release date for the figure but its definitely a must-have for collectors and Batman fans who were not able to get the ultra creepy DC Direct version of the Black Lantern Batman.
