The Book of Boba Fett episode 7 post-credit scene reveals a fan-favorite character is still alive
So in case you’re the type that doesn’t stick around after the credits roll, there’s actually a nice The Book of Boba Fett episode 7 post-credit scene which reveals the fate of a fan-favorite character who seemingly died leading up to the season finale.
Before we proceed, SPOILER ALERT
So now that that’s out of the way, lets take a look at a moment from that post-credit scene from The Book of Boba Fett episode 7.
So there, it looks like the deputy may have been killed by Cad Bane at the end of TBOBF episode 6 but Timothy Olyphant’s character Cobb Vanth aka The Marshall lives to fight another day. There’s also a second where someone who may just be a regular doctor or a modder gets a tool ready while Vanth lies motionless inside the Bacta Tank.
But what happened?
Shortly after seeing Din Djarin aka The Mandalorian off and getting asked to join the fight against the Pykes in Tatooine, a mysterious figure from the desert emerged only for it to be revealed to be Cad Bane, the ruthless bounty hunter that had ties to both the Clone Wars and the animated series The Bad Batch.
The two do a classic Western duel with Bane winning and effectively taking out both Vanth and his deputy. Cad Banes tell the people of Freetown to stick their noses elsewhere looking to stop them from joining Boba Fett in his war for control of Mos Espa and Tatooine.
The Book of Boba Fett is currently streaming on Disney+ and stars Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, Pedro Pascal and more! Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jon Favreau are also directors and/or writers in this series.
