Legendary Pictures announces new Godzilla TV series on Apple TV

Legendary Pictures, currently the outfit that holds that the Godzilla franchise has announced a new Godzilla series coming for Apple TV.

Here’s what Legendary wrote on their social media pages:

We’re thrilled to announce the #Monsterverse is expanding with an all-new original live action series for Apple TV Plus featuring #Godzilla and the Titans that will explore the mythic legacy of a world in which monsters are real.

At the moment we don’t have any casting news or release date but hopefully we get to see the other titans who made an appearance in Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Maybe we can even see what happened to Skull Island which killed all of Jia’s parents and the rest of the tribe that helped the main characters during Kong: Skull Island.
