A Sprint Finish: Decathlon SM Mall of Asia now open

Just after the grand opening in SM North EDSA, Decathlon Philippines has opened its fifth store, the Decathlon SM Mall of Asia located in Pasay, Metro Manila. The “Phygital” Decathlon Pasay opened its doors to a 1500 square meter store that nests over 70 sporting goods under one roof online and offline!

Powered by its purposed to sustainability make the benefits and sports accessible for the many. The brand first opened in the Philippines through its flagship store located in Festival Mall, Alabang as well as an e-commerce or online store – decathlon.ph in 2017. One year later, they opened a branch in Pasig and in 2019 another branch in Masinag, Antipolo.

As it played through the pandemic, Decathlon first opened in the North of Manila with its first concept store located in SM North EDSA just last month.

New Sports Playgrounds in Pasay and North EDSA

2021 sparked a long-term partnership with SM Supermalls as Decathlon quested North EDSA and Pasay to build and enter the sporting communities.

Reoperez also shared that customers can look forward to more online and physical sports events in line with the lightened COVID-19 restrictions.

Decathlon fans can also enjoy seamless digital features in the new store. Next-day delivery and click-and-collect will be available thanks to the integration of the store to Decathlon’s website. Membership will also be free for everyone. He also shared that thanks to the team’s obsession with customer service, developments for easier shopping are on their way.

Sustainable Playing

Decathlon customers can also choose and enjoy Eco-designed  sports products, items that are produced with lesser negative environmental impactm and Second Life items which are used sports items that are still in baseline working condition. Reoperez assures that the brand is coming up with more sustainable solutions to engage our customers to this mindset.

Decathlon Pasay will be open on weekdays from 11 AM to 10PM and on weekends from 10AM to 10PM. Visit them at L2, Entertainment Mall, SM Mall of Asia.
