The Batman Spinoff on HBO Max will bring back Colin Farrell’s Penguin

The Batman spinoff coming to HBO Max will bring back Colin Farrell’s character The Penguin aka Oswald Cobblepot when it gets released.

According to Variety, Farrell has signed on to star in the spinoff series which is still untitled at the moment. The actor will first appear as The Penguin in the upcoming film directed by Matt Reeves which also stars Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight.

Not only will Farrell reprise his role for The Batman spinoff, he’s also going to be an executive producer for the series. Lauren LeFranc is also attached to write the script for the series while Matt Reeves will be executive producers again.

The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Paul Dano, Collin Farrell and Jeffrey Wright! The film is slated for release March 4, 2022!
