Disney+ announced Spider-Man: Freshman Year animated series

Disney+ celebrated its birthday by dropping a lot of new stuff coming for 2022 and beyond including a new Spider-Man animated series titled

Here’s how Marvel Studios describes the project:

The animated series follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming Spider-Man in the MCU, with a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.

This could mean the stories appearing in this series happens before Tom Holland’s Peter Parker was scouted by Tony Stark aka Iron Man during the events of Captain America: Civil War.

And this will also mean we will be seeing Spidey in his tacky home-made suit, the same suit he wore in his final battle with The Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
