Darth Vader concept art from Obi-Wan Kenobi TV Series

Here’s a look at the Darth Vader concept art from the upcoming Star Wars spinoff series Obi-Wan Kenobi which stars Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprising his role as Anakin Skywalker/ Darth Vader!

So what do these artworks from the Kenobi sizzle reel point to? Well it looks like this would be round 2 between Obi-Wan and his former friend and padawan Anakin Skywalker who has now embraced the Dark Side of the Force thanks to the corruption of Emperor Palpatine himself.

Of course we know that the first round of the fight ended up in favor of Obi-Wan as seen in Revenge of the Sith; sadly he didn’t finish the job which directly resulted in the creation of Darth Vader.

Canonically though, we never got Round 2 and before the announcement of the Obi-Wan Kenobi cast and the series itself, Star Wars fans thought that the fateful encounter between the two in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope was round 2 with Vader winning this time. Now that’s not the case anymore.
