Here’s a quick look at Game of Thrones and Star Wars actress Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer for the upcoming Netflix Sandman series.

I’m pretty sure that there will be some people who will resist this casting but I’m a big fan of this casting. It also reminds me on that time they cast Tilda Swinton as an archangel in Keanu Reeves’ Constantine adaptation.

Lucifer joins a number of other Sandman characters who already have character posters for the series including Tom Sturridge as Morpheus aka the original Sandman aka Dream of the Endless. Check out the teaser that Netflix has released for The Sandman series below:
