#WelcomeKapusoKuyaKim trends on Twitter as Kuya Kim officially joins GMA

The hashtag #WelcomeKapusoKuyaKim went trending on Twitter as Kapuso fans welcomed Kim Atienza aka Kuya Kim moves over to GMA 7.

Atienza has been with rival station ABS-CBN for almost two decades before officially saying goodbye to the network and moving to GMA where several projects await him.

He was already shooting the OBB or opening billboard for his new show where he even rode a motorcycle.

Atienza, who is also the son of vice presidential candidate Lito Atienza, said goodbye during his last segment on TV Patrol where he almost broke into tears thanking the network.
