Hailee Steinfeld teases Hawkeye TV series on social media
Actress and latest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe Hailee Steinfeld has teased the Hawkeye TV series for Disney+ with her social media posts which could even lead to the series’ first trailer which has yet to pop out.
The Pitch Perfect actress posted a photo of her wearing her Kate Bishop costume with her back behind a dilapidated hoise with windows in disarray. You can also see that those windows were also covered in newspaper, to help set the feel that the place was disused.
The actress will be playing the new Hawkeye who teams up with the OG Hawkeye, Jeremy Renner who reprises his role as Clint Barton.
The series will also feature Vera Farmiga (The Conjuring) playing Steinfeld’s mother and the rumored Madame Masque.
Also recently announced to the cast is Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova aka Black Widow.
We know from the post-credit scene from Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson that Yelena has been working with Contessa Alegra as a part of her team which could be a precursor for the Thunderbolts or the Dark Avengers.
