Matrix 4 official title revealed

Warner Bros Pictures has revealed the Matrix 4 official title and that would be The Matrix Resurrections with Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss reprising their roles as Neo and Trinity.

And the trailer was screened to a select audience at this year’s CinemaCon from the Warner Bros Picture panel for the convention. According to reports, both Neo (Keanu Reeves) and Trinity (Carrie Anne Moss) are both alive with a little problem, they have amnesia or at the very least, they don’t have memories of their time together or as freedom fighters fighting the machines.

The trailer also showed Neo in a therapy session with his psychiatrist played by Neil Patrick Harris. There was also a scene with Neo and Trinity meeting for the first time in an underground rave and then having a conversation in a cafe. The trailer also wraps up with a mysterious man in black shows up and offers the classic red pill and blue pill. Thing is, the man is not Lawrence Fishburne’s Morpheus. It’s a completely new person.

Lana Wachowski returns to direct “The Matrix Resurrections,” which also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Jada Pinkett Smith and Daniel Bernhardt. The film, which is produced by Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow, is set for release on December 22.
