Marvel releases new Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Destiny Featurette

Marvel Studios has released a new Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Destiny featurette which talks about more of Shang-Chi’s destiny as a character and Simu Liu‘s destiny to play the role of Marvel’s toughest martial artist.

The featurette features stars Awkawafina and Simu Liu who plays the role of Shang-Chi who happens to be the Mandarin’s son. They talk about Simu’s legendary tweet to Marvel Studios which ultimately led to his casting as one of the few Asian members of an Avengers team. Kevin Feige is also here to show viewers the major connection between the first Iron Man movie starring Robert Downey Jr and this film which is one of the first new Phase 4 MCU movies coming out this year shortly after Black Widow.

Director Destin Daniel Cretton also talks about the development of the film which promises to be an epic adventure.

Alas we still don’t know how Abomination ended up in that steel cage fight against Wong as seen in the second trailer for “Shang-Chi” which really generated a lot positive buzz.
