Green Arrow and Aquaman team up for their 80th anniversary with Deep Target miniseries
Justice League members Green Arrow and Aquaman will be celebrating their 80th anniversary by teaming up in a new miniseries titled Aquaman/Green Arrow: Deep Target.
The new miniseries will be officially titled Aquaman/Green Arrow: Deep Target set for release October 2021. The mini will be written by Brandon Thomas with art by Ronan Cliquet and Ulises Arreola with covers by Marco Santucci and InHyuk Lee.
Currently both of these characters are already current members of the current iteration of the Justice League although they are both not getting their own ongoing series.
This seven issue miniseries will also set the stage for Aqualad to taking over the mantle of Aquaman from Arthur Curry with ties to the upcoming story called Aquaman: Becoming. This will feature current Aqualad, Jackson Hyde as he “graduates” and becomes Aquaman to replace Arthur who also recently married longtime lover Mera.
Writer Brandon Thomas even commented that the series and the team up will be “mind-bending” and “worlds altering.”
