Castlevania Season 4 Review

Here’s my Castlevania season 4 review which features the voices of Richard Armitage, Alejandra Reynoso, James Callis, Theo James, Adetokumboh M’Cormack, Bill Nighy and more.

Well, well it looks like this is the end of the line for the Castlevania anime series on Netflix but it did end on such a high note its going to be a tough time to be on par with it.

Before we proceed, I will be discussing a lot of spoilers in this review so SPOILER ALERT.

The final season for Castlevania is here and its a bittersweet season especially for all those fans who stuck it out through the good times and the bad times. But did they end in a high note or was this a whimper?

Honestly I thought this was a good season. There are a lot of elements that they finally ended, actually most but then they I found it absurd that they went and brought back the series’ main baddie for shock value. That’s right, they brought back Dracula and Lisa Tepes by the end of the story to do god knows what.

But we’ll get to Dracula and Lisa a little bit later.

For now I want to write about one of the best things they did for one of the main characters in the series and thats Trevor Belmont. By Castlevania season 4, Trevor’s almost a hero and he does so thanks to the dynamics he’s established with partner and lover Sypha Belnades.

Throughout the season they continue to fight and kill a who’s who of classic Castlevania villains as they investigate the possibility of somebody trying to bring back Dracula from the dead.

And through all this Trevor’s still an asshole who knows things and is good with a whip. As he’s faced with the ultimate evil though, viewers and followers of the show finally see the hero in the man; and he does so in the most badass way possible, taking down death.
