Was that Abomination and Wong in the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings second trailer

Marvel Studios and Disney has released the Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings second trailer and fans are talking about the quick appearance of Abomination and quite possibly Doctor Strange’s assistant and ally Wong.

They appear towards the end of the trailer during the already revealed cage fight scene where Simu Liu’s Shang-Chi was seen previously. In the first trailer, the arena was only shown briefly but now it looks like we have an extended look at the inside of the cage and whos fighting in it.

Honestly I wasn’t surprised that Abomination would appear here because Marvel Studios had already planned to get this out. They already wanted the Hulk villain to appear in Avengers:Endgame but that got scrapped. And now here we are with Shang-Chi and he’s a combatant in this cage fight.

Then there’s also the fact that he’s already slated to appear in the Disney+ series She-Hulk starring Tatiana Maslany and Mark Ruffalo who will be reprising his role as Bruce Banner/Hulk.

What is more surprising is that there’s a sorcerer fighting in this cage match. People think that its Benedict Wong’s Wong character but I really think its not. Maybe its just a random sorcerer from The Ancient One’s temple or somebody practicing magic from the Hong Kong branch. Still I wont close the possibility that this was Wong also because it could neatly tie into Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.
