Remember by the end of the Empyre event which was a crossover between the Avengers and the Fantastic Four, we saw that Nick Fury was dumped as the replacement Watcher and that Uatu the Watcher has returned to take back his role with a big warning to everybody.
Problem with Marvel here is that they weren’t really pushing this story further and everything’s scattered all over the place. Would probably throw off some fans who want a cohesive story but let’s see.
