New House of the Dragon still images from HBO

HBO recently posted new House of the Dragon still images to promote the Game of Thrones prequel series starring Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen!

This TV series is developed by Game of Thrones creator George R.R. Martin and Ryan Condal and is based on Martin’s 2018 novel Fire and Blood. The series is set 300 years before the events of Game of Thrones and chronicles the beginning of the end of House Targaryen.

Aside from Smith, known for being one of the many faces of Doctor Who, the show will also star Paddy Considine as Viserys I Targaryen, Emma D’Arcy as Rhaenyra Targaryen, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower, Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower, Steve Toussaint as Corlys Velaryon and more.

House of the Dragon is slated for release some time in 2022 and will stream on HBO Max.
