Christian Bale now shooting scenes for Thor: Love and Thunder as Gor the God Butcher

New photos surface from the set of Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder featuring Christian Bale as the movie’s main villain Gor the God Butcher.

Christian Bale, who previously played Batman and John Conner, once again dropped his weight significantly to get into the physique of the universal god slayer who has been terrorizing pantheons across space and has now set his sights on Asgard and maybe even Chris Hemsworth’s Thor Odinson.

And in case you don’t know what Gor looks like, he’s a thin and pale alien humanoid armed to the teeth and pretty vicious looking.

This character was created by Jason Aaron and Esad Ribic for the Thor books which ran for a number of issues. The villain was also indirectly responsible for Odinson becoming unworthy of Mjolnir as well as Jane Foster eventually becoming the new Thor.

Thor: Love and Thunder will be directed by Taika Waititi and also stars Natalie Portman, Chris Pratt, Christian Bale, and Tessa Thompson. No official release date yet for the film.
