The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 5 Post-Credit Scene Explained
Today we’re doing The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Episode 5 Post-Credit Scene Explained which just aired today!
Before we proceed, SPOILER ALERT
So at the end of the episode, John F. Walker (Wyatt Russell) has been stripped of his military rank and as the United States’ Captain America after his gruesome and dark turn at the end of episode 4, where he killed one of the Flag Smashers in public. While he’s no longer Captain America or a mandated super soldier, the serum he took in Episode 4 is still coursing in his veins. He’s angry and want to continue his work.
So at the end of the episode, we see him in his workshop…
… and he’s busy making his own shield too!
And while he doesn’t have a vibranium shield to boot, he’s still gutsy enough and he’s still nationalistic enough that he actually put his Medal of Honor on the shield.
This would mean that the story of John Walker isn’t done with beating up people and taking names. This action and post-credit scene also means that he’s getting ready for whenever he gets called by Contessa and whatever the hell team she’s planning to build. Similar to Nick Fury starting up the Avengers Initiative.
It looks like we’re not only getting the Young Avengers in the future…
as well as the New Avengers (which was really the All New, All Different Avengers)
And now we MAY also have the Dark Avengers or the Thunderbolts…
What do you guys think? Will we be getting the Thunderbolts? or the Dark Avengers? Leave a comment below and follow me on Twitter and Facebook for more geek news and updates!
