Extreme Carnage announced with Philip Kennedy Johnson with symbiotes going after Carnage

Marvel has revealed theie next big story for the Venom books after King in Black and its going to be called Extreme Carnage with writer Philip Kennedy Johnson helming the story.

The short version of this is that the Life Foundation symbiotes like Scream and Lasher going after Carnage in part due to the changes that have come from the defeat of Knul the god of symbiotes.

The story starts off in Venom # 34 which will also be the last tie-in book for the King in Black story. This would also be the send off issue for writer Donny Cates and artist Ryan Stegman. The duo also did Absolute Carnage ehich was a prelude to the penultimate King in Black story. Check out the full image below.

The cover was also done by artist Leinil Francis Yu and Sunny Gho.

The whole Extreme Carnage story will also officially kick off with Extreme Carnage: Alpha # 1 with Johnson writing it while the artist has yet to be announced.
