Globe at Home introduces latest and fastest Prepaid WiFi – Initial Thoughts
I recently got hold of the latest Globe at Home prepaid WiFi modem and I’d lke to share my initial thoughts on this baby! They do promise that this new modem will be faster and better than the previous version they released.
This new product is now out in the market and will require a one-time payment of P1999 from leading stores nationwide!
First let’s check what’s inside the box.
The box is packed with everything you’ll need from the actual modem, to the power cable and and the SIM card. There’s also a number of warranty documents as well as user manuals. But honestly, you don’t need much because the product is just plug and play.
Now for my thoughts on the actual modem itself.
The design for the new prepaid WiFi from Globe at Home is a tad bigger than the previous model which is out in the market. It goes for a wider look rather than taller.
One of the biggest selling points for this is the LTE compatibility, this is what they meant when they stated that its “doble”. Double the speeds because they are tapping on the LTE capabilities of Globe’s network infrastructure. Power consumption and heating issues isn’t quite often but I also suggest you take care of the unit and give it a rest from time to time.
Loading the prepaid load onto the Globe at Home LTE wifi modem still remains the same. You can buy from stores like 711 and Ministop OR you can also load it up yourself via the GCash app.
