Black Adam and Naomi join the Infinite Frontier Justice League roster
Brian Michael Bendis may be done with the Superman books but he’s not going anywhere as he’s tackling the main Justice League book and building a new Infinite Frontier Justice League team which will include Black Adam and Naomi.
The new Infinite Frontier Justice League roster will roll out with Justice League #59 and surprisingly will include the new Wonder Woman.
The rundown of this team would be as follows:
- Superman
- Wonder Woman
- Batman
- Black Adam
- Naomi
- Hawkgirl
- Green Arrow
- Black Canary
- Aquaman
So they ditched Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern John Stewart which is a bummer because Scott Snyder made sure he gets elevated through his JL run. But I’m okay with this before the new additions to the team shows promise. Its really the writing of Bendis that could be a problem down the road.
But man oh man, the art by David Marquez is something worth buying.
DC Comics is also making sure that you get more bang for your buck with backup story starring the new iteration of Justice League Dark. Bendis has even teased a possibility of a crossover between the two teams especially since the Dark team also share headquarters with the main League.
