Voltes V Legacy Main Cast Revealed including Miguel TanFelix as Steve

GMA 7’s ambitious upcoming adaptation of the classic mecha series Voltes V called Voltes V Legacy has completed the main cast topbilled by Kapuso star Miguel TanFelix as the Voltes team’s leader Steve Armstrong or Kenichi Go in the original series.

So the biggest star for this series is Steve who will be played by Miguel Tanfelix. The actor has starred in several films I’ve reviewed in the past including Banal and Family History starring opposite his long time loveteam partner Bianca Umali. He can act but hopefully this project can push him and develop him further.

Ysabel Ortega will be playing the role of Jamie Robinson. She’s the daughter of action legend Lito Lapid and Michelle Ortega. I’m told she can do her own stunts too (which should be the expectation since her dad is fricking Leon Guerrero himself). Her past works with GMA includes Pepito Manaloto as Tina and Sabina Marcelino in The Gift. She had past projects with ABS-CBN too including shows like Pusong Ligaw, Born for You and On the Wings of Love.

This announcement tonight rounds off the cast which included previously announced cast members like:

Radson Flores as Mark

Matt Lozano as Big Bert

Rapahel Landicho as Little John Armstrong

I gotta say, this series looks promising. Now I just wish they updated the promotional materials now that the cast has been revealed and we get to see the actual cast wearing the costumes and now renders with their faces superimposed.

Oh wait, we still don’t have Prince Zardos and Zandra, the two main villains for the series from the Boazanians. Check out the Voltes V Legacy teaser which was released earlier this year…
