Was that MechaGodzilla in the Godzilla vs Kong official trailer?
Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures dropped the Godzilla vs Kong official trailer on Monday, much to the glee of people everywhere but keen eyed fanboys and fangirls spotted something else. They could have sworn that was MechaGodzilla in a quick scene.
Check out the photos from the trailer that seems to think that the classic Godzilla baddie has already been subtly revealed.
There’s a lot of buzz citing this monster thats attacking Hong Kong seems to glow red while the previous films have established that Godzilla emits a blue light or energy. Even his atomic breath is blue as seen in both the original Godzilla movie and the sequel, Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
Even more interesting is the fact that the son of Ken Watanabe’s Professor Serizawa is also here. He is played by Shun Oguri and named Ren Serizawa.
Notice what’s displayed on the background of this still image. It definitely looks like the mechanical counterpart of the G-Man himself.
Check out the official trailer and synopsis.
