Knull kills the Sentry similar to how Carnage was killed (King in Black # 1 Spoilers)

Incoming King in Black # 1 spoilers from Donny Cates and Ryan Stegman. In this post we take a look at the moment Knull kills the Sentry!

So after Knull lands on Earth in badass fashion, he picks a fight with Captain America and the Avengers and its revealed that the Avengers had another trump up their sleeve. They call in Robert Reynolds aka The Sentry who is back again from the dead to deal with the intergalactic threat.

Captain America was smug enough to gloat a bit during the reveal of who their ace in their sleeve is.

He does the exact same thing he does with every major kill he’s done in his comic book career, namely swoop in, bring intended target to space and rip them off in half.

But then Knull’s so powerful (or so powerfully written) that he actually breaks the hold and breaks the pattern and does this…

Knull kills Sentry with the same move he’s killed Carnage back in New Avengers # 2…

… and Ares in Siege…

What’s more scary here and kinda proves that Knull’s a pretty big threat to the universe is the fact that after literally ripping Sentry in half, he just absorbs The Void into his body like it was another symbiote. The Void’s already a powerful entity in itself and has been a constant threat in the comics. It’s also the source of Reynolds’ fear; losing control and having the Void completely take over.
