Twitter Users make Thelma Chiong a trending topic in relation to Christine Dacera’s case

Twitter can be mean and can be entertaining too as seen in the continuous trending topics surrounding the death of flight attendant Christine Dacera. Today, the name of Thelma Chiong has become a trending topic after the actions of Dacera’s mother was shared on social media with many saying it bears a striking resemblance to the action of the Chiong Sister’s mother Thelma.

The tl;dr here is that the FA’s death was originally stated as an aneurysm but then the Philippine National Police claimed that the death was actually a rape-slay case, then claimed that the case was closed. They then pinned the blame on several suspects including friends of the deceased who were present at the New Year’s Eve party where she died. The thing is, most of the suspects for the rape-slay case were gay. To make matters worse, the PNP also stated that intoxicated gay men tend to become straight and therefore can be guilty of raping women. This of course isn’t true and has angered various segments of society including the LGBTQ+ community.
