The figure, based on Superman’s appearance from DC Comics’ Return of Superman from DC Comics and is the continuation of the story from Death of Superman. In it, Superman returns from his “death” after his fight with Doomsday. This was also the culmination of four “Supermen” who took up the mantle after Superman fell. At this point in time, Superman returns and confronts Cyborg Superman aka Hank Henshaw who brought in his warship together with Mongul.

This MAFEX Black Suit Superman features the black and silvery Kryptonian suit. It also features two head sculpts, a replacement flight boots with effects, a bunch of interchangeable hands and an articulated figure stand. The MAFEX Black Suit Superman also stands at 6.3″ tall and has a scheduled release date of October 2021.
