The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake officially happening from Ubisoft

One of the big classics from a few console generations ago is coming back as Ubisoft has announced the release date for The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake for 2021!

Here’s what they posted online about the remake:

“The Prince is back! Remade for the first time by Ubisoft, relive this legendary tale, or discover it new for the first time. Embark on a journey as the Prince to save your kingdom from the treacherous Vizier, in this timeless classic.”

The game won’t be out until January 2021 but pre-orders are already open for gamers. If you pre-order the game also for the current-gen consoles like the PS4 or the Xbox One, you can also upgrade your game to the upcoming consoles. So if you bought a PS4 version, you can update the game and install it on your Playstation 5. The same goes for the Xbox One to Xbox Series X.

Preorders for The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake will also get the Origins Set which consists of five swords from the original game, the original outfit for The Prince from the OG game and a classic filter to really get into your nostalgia boots!
