Rest in Peace Chadwick Boseman; Passed Away at 43 due to Colon Cancer
One of the rising names from Marvel Studios, Chadwick Boseman was confirmed to have passed away this morning due to colon cancer.
His team had announced his passing through various mediums including a post on his official Facebook page. Its been revealed that he has stage III colon cancer which he was diagnosed to having back in 2016. He has been battling the disease for 4 years before the cancer went to stage 4 and he passed.
He was already scheduled to star in the untitled Black Panther 2 movie and has even expressed his excitement for the project.
Plus he was also lending his voice to the Disney Plus series “What If” where he will also reprise his role as the Black Panther aka King T’Challa.

It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman.
Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV.
A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.
It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.
He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.
The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.
