Gotham Knights isn’t part of the Arkhamverse

While we are all still going crazy over the release of the first trailer for Gotham Knights it looks like they are taking back some of the happiness that was generated during the instant classic DC FanDome. As its been clarified that Gotham Knights isn’t part of the Arkhamverse.

Ok, so days after #DCFanDome, its been revealed that the Gotham Knights game set for release 2021 for next-gen consoles will be set in a different world/time. Not in the Batman Arkhamverse we were led to believe initially. This kinda makes sense why the “Knightfall Protocol” sequence was so jumbled and out of place.

Check out the first trailer and gameplay footage for Gotham Knights which features four of the heavy hitters of the Bat-Family namely Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl and Red Hood.

So while Gotham Knights isn’t part of the Arkhamverse, at least we still get the Court of Owls and that aforementioned Mr. Freeze who we already saw in the first trailer.

No word yet when it would officially released but we do know its going to be released 2021. Hope WB Games Montreal sticks to their guns in terms of scheduling.
