Street Fighter’s Yoshinori Ono departs from Capcom
It looks like Yoshinori Ono of Street Fighter fame has officially announced his departure from Capcom.
Here’s what he wrote on social media:
The guy was a prolific game producer working with Capcom and he’s worked on a lot of games. Some of the games that he has worked on including:
- Street Fighter Alpha
- Street Fighter Alpha 3
- Street Fighter III 3rd Strike
- Breath of Fire IV
- Dino Crisis 2
- Devil May Cry
- Onimusha: Warlords
- Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny
- Resident Evil: Outbreak
- Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams
- Dead Rising
- Monster Hunter Frontier Online
- Street Fighter IV
- Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
- Super Street Fighter IV
- Street Fighter X Tekken
- Street Fighter V
- Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite
We really wish all the best for Ono-san and here’s to hoping that we get more games that he produces either independently or with a new game company.
