Sony postpones PlayStation 5 Event

Sony and Sony Interactive has made changes to their upcoming PlayStation 5 launch which was slated this week. That’s right they have cancelled the event for the duration.

You can check out the announcement posted on the various Sony PlayStation social media channels like Facebook and Twitter.

I liked what they said about this not being a good time to celebrate as there’s just so many negative things happening around from the police riots and the Georgel Floyd incident to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic gripping the world.

Although having something to talk about could be a great way to take a break.from, it was still a good call on Sony’s part to do this.
